Chris Holm has been at the center of Bergen’s world renowned indie scene for years. As a member of Young Dreams, The Alexandria Quartet, Bloody Beach and Sondre Lerche’s band, Chris has been a part of many great albums, tracks, tours and moments in Norwegian music. Today, we are very proud to bring you his debut solo single “When I Die”, from his LP “Kilos”, set for release in fall 2012 on Tellé.

Though the Super 8 thing is pretty overdone at this point, it’s a nice reminder of that style’s effectiveness when thoughtfully employed.”

Jon Olav Nilsen og Gjengen med Nils Bech slipper ny singel: “Vinterkarusellen”
NRK P1’s mest spilte band i 2011 er tilbake med en ny singel, “Vinterkarusellen”. Denne gangen gjester vokalisten og performance kunstner Nils Bech. Dette er en så kalt “One off” singel, en liten gave til fansen mens de venter på John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen sitt tredje album som skal bli sluppet i september. John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen debuterte med låten “Diamanter og Kirsebær” på Tellé sitt underselskap Opplett tilbake i 2008, vi er stolte av at vi nå 4 år senere får muligheten til å slippe hva vi synes er en av John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen mest unike låter. En låt som virkelig skiller seg ut og nok en gang flytter grenser i norsk “gate”pop. Kontrasten mellom John Olav Nilsen & Nils Bech er styggvakker. Vi rett og slett elsker denne låten , og håper du vil gjøre det også!

SONDRE LERCHE’S RECORD STORE TOUR
Sondre Lerche has confirmed dates for his tour of Norway’s record stores and is getting ready for a big 2012. All in-store shows are free, acoustic sets followed by a meet-and-greet with Sondre. The stores were chosen by a combination of enthusiasm from the stores themselves and fan participation on the tour’s Facebook event page (http://www.facebook.com/events/319145844765363/). We may be confirming even more stores in the coming days but this is majority of the tour:
